What is coaching?
Answer: Coaching helps clients grow by setting goals, understanding what gets in the way and practicing new skills. Emotion and purpose coaching helps you reconnect with your feelings and uncover your life’s purpose. Through personalized sessions, I guide you to better understand your emotions, clarify your priorities, and take intentional steps toward a life aligned with your values.
How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Answer: If you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next steps, coaching could be a great fit. Schedule a call with me to discuss your goals and see how we can work together to achieve them.
What can I expect during a 1:1 coaching session?
Answer: Each session is a safe, supportive space where we focus on your unique challenges and goals. We’ll explore your emotions, identify barriers, and develop practical strategies to help you reconnect with yourself and live with greater intention.
What can I expect during a small group coaching series?
Answer: A series will be an intensive aimed to help you listen to deeply to your own and others process. Homework and group sharing and feedback are intentionally designed for each person’s growth.
How long does the coaching process take?
Answer: The coaching journey is highly individual. Some goals lend themselves to creating a set amount of sessions for the work, some are more ongoing. Together, we’ll create a timeline that aligns with your needs and goals.
How do I get started?
Answer: Getting started is simple! Just click “Schedule a Call” on the website to send me an email, and we’ll set up a time to talk about your needs and how I can support you. Then if it’s what you’re looking for, we’ll schedule our first session.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Answer: Coaching and therapy both aim to help individuals grow and thrive, but they take different approaches. Therapy, especially how I practice, often focuses on healing trauma, addressing specific mental health challenges, and utilizing the transference relationship to explore and heal deep emotional issues. Coaching, as I practice, on the other hand, is present and future-focused, helping you identify and work with emotions, set goals, clarify your purpose, and create actionable steps to achieve meaningful change.
It’s worth noting that coaching is often a component of therapy, as many therapists incorporate coaching techniques to help clients move forward in specific areas of life. If you’re unsure which approach is right for you, I can help you decide during an initial conversation.
What are your qualifications?
Answer: I bring over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, supervisor, and pastor. I am a certified coach through the Grow Training Institute, a coaching Institute for people who are already mental health professionals. My background equips me to support you with both professional expertise and deep empathy as you navigate your journey toward greater connection and purpose.

Answer: My coaching fee is $250 per session for individual sessions. Groups range depending upon length. Payments can be made securely through Zelle or Venmo. If you need assistance with the payment process, I’m happy to guide you through it.
Is coaching covered by health insurance?
Answer: Coaching is not typically covered by health insurance. However, some employers offer programs or reimbursement for professional development, which may include coaching. I recommend checking with your employer to see if this applies to you.

I offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Virtual sessions provide flexibility and convenience, while in-person sessions are available in Long Beach, California. Choose the option that works best for you.
